"Valdosta FMC will grow as a place of spiritual nourishment and connection by developing deep roots of faith through intentional forms of discipleship. We will branch out from these roots to bear fruit by meeting the spiritual, physical, and personal needs of the Valdosta area by sharing the love of Christ through our witness and service."

who we are:

We are a historic downtown church helping people worship deeply, grow faithfully, and serve joyfully! We belong to the South Georgia Conference of the Global Methodist Church, and align with traditional Methodist doctrine and discipline. You can learn more about the GMC at www.globalmethodist.org.

At Valdosta First Methodist Church, we want to be a place where you and your family can feel connected, grow in your faith, and make a meaningful impact. We believe life with Christ takes root through intentional discipleship and grows as we share God’s love with others.

We live this out in three simple ways: Worship, Grow, and Serve

Worship with us on Sundays at 9am in The Loft (contemporary) or 11am in the Sanctuary (traditional), as we gather to encounter God and encourage one another.

Grow through Sunday School at 10am—with programming for all ages—as well as weekly Bible studies, small groups, and meaningful relationships that help deepen your faith.

Serve by putting faith into action through local and global missions, sharing the love and hope of Christ in our community and beyond.
